6th-8th math & science
Middle school will be working all things Egyptian in preparation for the Egyptian Fair on March 17th. Mummification of animal parts, archaeological dig sites and Egyptian travel guides will all be on display courtesy of our creative hard working students. Eight middle school students competed in the MSM Mu Alpha Theta math competition, Mrs. Speakes was very proud of their hard work and exemplary behavior. All math classes are working on ratios, proportions, solving algebraic equations and fractions. Our science lab is in need of paper towels, vinegar, baking soda, salt, food coloring, coffee filters, sugar liquid starch and yeast. If you have any of these items, please send them to school! And finally, ITAV is coming and middle school students have some interesting and unique items to auction off. Get those checkbooks ready!
