St. Edward Salsa Contest

Deadline for entries will be Thursday, August 26th at 12 noon.

Are you ready for some HOT competition? Then, enter our Dragon Salsa Contest where you could win the $100 grand prize! If you are a member of the St. Edward Catholic School / Church community, you are eligible to enter our Dragon Salsa contest. If you don’t want to enter the contest you can still participate by voting at our event on Friday, August 27, 2010!

Winners will include Best Salsa and Best Booth!!

The contest schedule is as follows on Friday, August 27, 2010:

1:30 pm - 4:30 pm Booth & contest setup 5:30 pm - 6:30 pm Salsa tasting / voting 6:30 pm - 9:00 pm Bingo

Winners of the "Best Salsa" & "Best Booth" will be chosen by the St. Edward School parents and parishioners through ballot voting at the event.

Contestants must provide 1 gallon of salsa for the contest for tasting.

The winning contestant must agree to turn over the recipe (in written form that evening) with measurable ingredients for 1 gallon of product to St. Edward Catholic School PTO Salsa committee to manufacture that recipe as a fundraiser for the school.

The top five (5) winning contestants (or their representatives) must be available on Saturday, September 25, 2010 from 10:00 am – 4:00 pm to attend the Arkansas Art Center Salsa Event along with providing 1 gal. of product for tasting.
