6th-8th social studies
World War II starts for eighth grade students this month with each student completing a research project of one of the battles. Oral presentation, visual display and quality of the written portion will all factor into the success of these projects. Seventh graders are busy with Arkansas statehood. They will be looking at historic documents from the time. And sixth grade is learning about the Roman Empire leading to medieval Europe. Our primary focus in this chapter will be “The Catholic Church and Society”. Look for a chart of our archeological digging site at the Egyptian Fair.
